Our meeting is next Sunday 8th February at Wickham Bishops Village Hall. Doors open at 1.30pm. Our guest speaker is Rob Potterton subject ‘New Zealand 2019 – Plants, People and Gardens’. The meeting starts with announcements at 2.00 followed by the lecture then the raffle, tea & cake and plant sales.


Rob Potterton is a dedicated nurseryman with over 40 years of experience in the field. He has been instrumental in the development of Potterton’s Nursery which has been a family run specialist nursery since 1971. They grow and supply an extensive selection of Alpines, Dwarf Bulbs and woodland plants by MAIL ORDER and at the many shows they attend throughout the UK. Winners of 7 Chelsea Gold medals and many other awards.
- Workshop prior to meeting. Lyn Moore will be giving a practical workshop on how to take root cuttings. Perfect for the novice gardener to more experienced. Gain success and confidence in this simple propagation method. An opportunity to ask questions in an informal setting.
